Requirements About the Business In this role, you will be working for our Infrastructure Services business which forms part of the CV group.
The team specialises in electrical infrastructure works and provides a comprehensive range of design, supply and construction services.
Our projects include major road and rail infrastructure, commercial and industrial projects, urban developments and subdivisions, and airports and airfields.
We have over 170 team members with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects for our wide range of clients.
About the Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrician to join our Infrastructure Services team based at Hendra.
You will be responsible for: Utilising technical knowledge, skills and capabilities to interpret specifications, drawing and manuals.
Undertaking problem solving and job specific reporting in accordance with requirements.
Committing to all facets of on the job compliance including code and OH&S. Demonstrating the ability to think laterally and plan jobs ensuring all equipment and resources are available.
Effectively communicating with clients, suppliers and team members.
About You Are you the person CV needs?

Preference for, but not limited to, any experience with the Energex/Ergon network Preference for, but not limited to, any experience with High Voltage Infrastructure (private/network) Preference for, but not limited to, any experience with Substations, Large Customer Connections etc.
Preference for, but not limited to, any experience with overhead, underground reticulation.
Preference for any experience/understanding switching Low Voltage networks Current unrestricted QLD Electrical Workers Licence Current manual drivers' licence Reliable, hardworking, and conscientious Strong commitment to code compliance and WHS requirements Excellent communicator who is comfortable working autonomously within a team Happy to take instruction and open to learning new techniques.
