Location: Solomon
Fortescue's Solomon mine is located on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi peoples.
Roster: 7 days on, 7 nights on, 14 days off - FIFO from Perth
Fortescue are presently looking for qualified Electricians to join our OPF team at Solomon mine site.
This role offers a unique opportunity to grow within a high-performance team at our state-of-the-art iron ore processing facility.
Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and scope continuous improvement opportunitiesRaise notifications and work orders as requiredPerform breakdown and fault-finding on fixed plant equipmentConduct preventative and modular maintenance on fixed plant machineryParticipate in statutory testing and inspections to ensure compliance and safety.Qualifications and ExperienceElectrical trade qualificationValid WA 'A' class electrical worker's licenseHigh voltage certification and HV switching experience are highly desirable but not mandatoryPrior experience as an electrical tradesperson; we are looking for new to industry team members to join usBasic understanding of electrical fundamentals, with a proactive approach to learningProficient with computers and maintenance management software.Our CommitmentFortescue celebrates individual strengths and team members are encouraged to bring their whole selves to work.
