About the Role: ISAS is currently seeking qualified electricians to join our friendly and hardworking team for an immediate start in our air-conditioned manufacturing workshop, with occasional site work required. Experience in all aspects of electrical switchboard manufacturing is highly desirable, but on-the-job training will be available for applicants with the aptitude to adapt to new environments. This full-time secure role is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician to enjoy stable ongoing employment while contributing to the delivery of essential and specialist electrical equipment and infrastructure.
Our assembly workshop is air-conditioned for a more comfortable work environment.
What you'll be doing: Assembly and installation of LV switchgear up to 3200A Assembly of modular metalwork structures, cutting, drilling, and light metal fabrication Wiring to control schematics for HV protection relay panels, PLC panels and control systems Testing of connections, circuits and completing test documentation Planning and scheduling the work, good time keeping and following verbal and written instruction Implement and adhere to all relevant safety standards and regulations Work as part of a team to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects What we're looking for: Qualified electrician with a current Northern Territory license, White Card Experience in switchboards manufacturing is highly desirable Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation particularly schematics and wiring diagrams Excellent communication and teamwork skills Commitment to safety and compliance with relevant standards and regulations Ability to work accurately Experience in: Control wiring Power cabling Fault Finding and Testing Busbar experience is desirable but not essential. A driver's license, A Grade Electrical License, an Industry Construction Card, National Police Check and switchboard experience are essential for this role.
A pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen is required. A National Police Check is also required. Remuneration: Rates are competitive and based on skill and experience. Overtime applies.
