What are you going to do Responsibilities Deliver mandatory training and inductions, including Electrical Worker Inductions, Low Voltage Rescue and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Arc Flash, Hazard Awareness and High Voltage compliance for National and Expatriate employees and contractors. Improve compliance training standards on site. Update training and assessment materials, verifications of competency, facilitator guides and review and update online learning packages. Ensure training materials are controlled using the Central Document Management System. Ensure that training processes and materials are constantly aligned to Electrical Standards, Operating Procedures, Industry Standards, Learnings from Incidents and general feedback from workforce. Maintain Site Electrical Competencies in the Learning Management System (LMS). Manage Electrical worker authorisations and issue electrical permit cards and electrical area access keys. Train and Coach other Electrical Trainers. Endorse high quality training standards by coaching and developing National Electrical Trainers. High Voltage Operator Trainer and Assessor. Be part of compliance team, overseeing the development, coaching and mentoring of electrical safety rules, electrical procedures, emergency response protocols and switching instructions. Training and assessing the Certificate III in Electrotechnology, post trade competencies and skill sets in the classroom and workplace. Ensure training is delivered in accordance with Mine Standards, policies including RTO Standards. Contribute to the continuous improvement of RTO programs. Essential skills and knowledge Requirements Nationally Accredited Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to current standards TAE40122. Current HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary (First Aid) and UETDRMP007 LV Rescue qualifications are desirable. Advanced electrical or powerline trade/technical skills and knowledge (essential). Relevant substation and/or switching experience (essential). RTO training experience and Trade qualification/s in Electrotechnology. A current electrical license. Experience in learning and development with strong facilitation and coaching skills. Demonstrated leadership and supervision of course participants. Experience coordinating training related projects, qualifications relevant to high voltage plant and power station plant. Experience in the operation of high voltage network and/or power generation plant and have a passion for passing on the benefits of your knowledge and experience to new and experienced workers. Excellent document writing skills. Working knowledge of safety programs and procedures. Experience in interfacing project teams, including staff and contractors. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential roadblocks and develop strategies to mitigate risks and keep projects on track.
