You will be responsible for the design and delivery of key projects, both locally and on a national level. You will also be responsible for leading the team and providing management and mentorship for those reporting into you.The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate proven engineering leadership and hold a CPEng qualification. Experience working on key healthcare projects is preferred and will be highly regarded.Duties & Responsibilities:Representing ACOR with existing and new clients to help develop the businessAttracting new clients to ACORIncreasing ACOR capabilityManaging a team including leading and mentoring staffContinuous staff training and development of the teamProviding general project oversight and advice to staff working on projectsMaintaining quality control proceduresConsistently achieving reasonable monthly budget targetsMonthly reporting to the executive teamPreparing fee proposals and then tracking, time and budget to invoicing and cash flow are appropriately managedSeeking and developing new business opportunitiesAssisting in the development of delivery strategies to develop and expand marketsSkills and experience:University engineering degree or equivalent, recognised by Engineers AustraliaEligible for membership of Engineers AustraliaSite induction training card (white card)Minimum 5-7 years previous experience within an engineering consultancy or equivalentStrong business development skillsHigh level of project management and technical ability within the electrical disciplineHighly developed engineering and assessment skillsCompetent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)Benefits of ACOR:Attractive remuneration package, commensurate with experience.Ongoing professional learning & development.Structured career pathways.Paid Parental leave.Work life balance in a flexible and inclusive environment.Regular social events and fundraising activities.Discounts on everyday products and services.100% employee-owned companyIf you are a motivated individual who welcomes new challenges, this is a great opportunity to grow your career.
