Electrical Superintendent

We have a new opportunity for an Electrical Superintendent with previous underground mining experience to join us on a project in South Australia.
You will assist the Construction Manager and work with the team to make the project a success with your skills and experience. You will demonstrate proven experience in a similar role and have the ability to deliver the project on time, whilst maintaining the great reputation the company holds with the client.
There is a great remuneration package on offer and an opportunity to expand your career in the mining industry. This role is based at a remote mine site on a 2 and 1 roster. Flights, camp accommodation and meals are supplied.
ABOUT THE ROLE: Undertake project-specific tasks as appropriate and directed to you by the Project ManagerLeading a team of supervisorsLead by example for all Safety on siteReport task status, including forecast outcomes with relation to time, cost, scope and quality, when requiredMaintain records of work-in-progress and communications in line with the project management methodologyEvaluating bid specifications, reviewing plans, and drawings and formulating an overall estimating and pricing strategyComplete daily and weekly reportsParticipate in and inform project planning and auditing activitiesABOUT YOU: You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
Have a great attitudeEnjoy problem solvingExcellent Leadership in SafetyMinimum 3 years experience in a Supervisory rolePrevious Experience in Mining ConstructionMining Supervisor (S123) desirable and not essentialMicrosoft Office 365 applications including Teams, ExcelExperience in the use and interpretation of Project Scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera)Quality Management experienceBudget management experiencePrevious underground mining experience will be highly regardedThe successful candidate will have:
Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro TechSA Electrical LicenseHigh-risk work License (with WP class) desirable, but not essentialWorking at Heights (Completed in the last 16 months) desirable, but not essentialCurrent CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months)Current Unrestricted C Class Driver's LicenseWhite / Blue Construction CardPlease note all your tickets and licenses MUST be current to commence on-site and be employed by PHE.
