An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced industry professional to provide leadership and expertise in the areas of Electrical, Power, Automation, Maintenance and Reliability, utilizing best practices in electrical safety and engineering standards.
You will ensure that site electrical and automation asset lifecycles are effectively managed, and suitable replacement programs are in place, as well as promoting site technology opportunities to improve business performance and efficiencies.
About the role: Promote proactive SHEQ behaviours and challenge non-compliance Plan and coordinate resources to identify hazards and manage risk.
Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained and environmental compliance is always considered.
Develop a technically component, motivated, functional and cohesive Plant Automation and Control, Electrical Reliability and Maintenance teams Ensure Railton and Devonport operations maintain full compliance to Australia standards and regulatory requirements within the Railton Maintenance Teams Ensure Railton and Devonport operations Electrical Services contracts are implemented to support delivery of compliance requirements Provide Electrical technical leadership and direction to Railton Maintenance teams in addressing plant operational issues Develop team succession plans, harness the talents of high performers and promote opportunities for development Identify areas of improvement for direct reports.
Organise cost effective training, coaching and communications to meet the identified need.
Conduct necessary performance review of staff reports as required.
Identifies opportunities for optimising plant, continuous improvement and maximising value of maintenance spend.
Actively supports development and delivery of maintenance budget Effectively manage Process Automation and Control asset lifecycles and capital replacement programs Effectively manage Electrical asset lifecycles and capital replacement programs Manage all appropriate PCS registers, such as licenses, quality documentation and relevant procedures Support the development of a maintenance capital portfolio which is aligned to strategic business plans and asset lifecycle best practice Where required, prepare capital expenditure requests, business cases and briefing papers Participate in shutdown scope reviews and support delivery of key plant shutdowns – including the development of shutdown commissioning plans About you: Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering (preferred) Demonstratable experience in heavy industrial electrical, instrumentation, automation and control experience Demonstratable experience in managing/leading teams Strong knowledge of maintenance processes within manufacturing, resources or construction Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Office Suite and basic MS Project skills Strong leadership and planning skills Advanced written, verbal and communication skills Previous experience with regulations, Australian standards and codes of practice Previous experience in developing and conducting audits Project Management experience (advantageous) Why work for Cement Australia?
