The ideal candidate will be a qualified electrician, who has worked on the tools, but more recently has been in a project management type role and tasked with estimating costs, orchestrating resource management, and ensuring that projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. You are organised and a standout administrator and able to use project management tools to assist you in your role.Responsibilities:Estimating project costs and formulating budgetsOrganizing and overseeing project resourcesEnsuring adherence to safety regulationsMonitoring project milestones and addressing any issues that ariseServing as the primary contact and updating all stakeholders on project progressInterpreting and following technical drawings, specifications, and scope of work documents to ascertain project requirementsDetermining labor, materials, and time requirements for proposed worksLiaising and fostering strong professional relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to secure accurate and competitive pricing and information within specified timelinesEnsuring tender submissions comply with all formats, timelines, and other client-specified requirementsPreparing and submitting tenders, including the collation of supporting documentationMaintaining tender lists/registers, key dates, and scheduling the review processProviding support and guidance to managers and the team for the successful execution of projects, including tasks critical to the timelineParticipating in client meetings and sustaining strong professional relationships with clients and relevant stakeholdersReviewing project documentation and specificationsEstimating change orders for assigned projects when necessaryConducting post-project reviews to identify areas for future improvementQualifications:Current Electrical Licence QLDExperience as an A Grade Electrician.Experience in electrical estimatingDemonstrated experience in electrical project management and estimationComprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and project management fundamentalsAcquaintance with safety standards and quality regulationsIntermediate or proficient in using Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Strong organizational and project coordination abilitiesIntermediate or proficient in using Simpro (Project Management Software)Excellent communication, customer service skills and work ethic are essential.What we offer youA company that is energetic and going places, our culture is fantastic, and we pride ourselves on our teams diverse but truly collaborative nature, a competitive salary is on offer as well as a great place to work!As a seasoned professional eager for new challenges and keen to contribute, we invite you to apply and join our strategic, forward-thinking team.
