Job Description - Electrical Project Engineer - EOI (261666)UGL is an employer with a difference, jump on board and experience our incredible journeyAbout the roleThis is an Expression of Interest for an Electrical Project Engineer.UGL Major Projects division is expecting significant growth for 2025 in Western Australia as we support large Building Services Projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for locals and those open to FIFO and DIDO roles.Provide support for design, construction support, testing and commissioning and handover of aspects of the electrical and combined services for the nominated project.Provide inputs for the production of project program, Quality Plan, Project Document Management Plan (PDMP) and Design Management documentation.Ensure that the design output conforms to all safety, environmental, construction, commissioning, and operating requirements.Lead or Support of procurement for the designated work area.Assist with short and long-term planning for works - including submittals, start-up planning and programming.Supporting the Area Manager in preparing accurate monthly reports.Coordination of elements for the designated work area.Development and monitoring of KPI's and productivity analysis against program and budget.Development and monitoring of quality documentation completion against specifications and PSTR.Working with site-based personnel including supervisory staff, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, consultants, the client and regulatory authorities and industry body.About YouBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.At least 7 years' experience in Electrical Engineering experience (practical as well as design) including solid exposure to commissioning of Low Voltage Systems.Applying engineering principles to comply with project scope and technical requirements (PSTR).Demonstrated experience to include planning up to 4 weeks ahead and weekly reporting against cost and time.Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.Have a strong understanding of Building Codes, utilities requirements and building services to be implemented in residential buildings.Proven Experience (from concept to completion), as design engineer with full understanding of local construction methodologies throughout all areas of residential development.Experience working on large accommodation villages made up of modular buildings or similar types of projects.Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands.UGL – Big projects.
