Electrical Operations Manager

As an Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operations involved to ensure problematic concerns are dealt with smoothly. You will be expected to implement performance measures to secure and maintain these operations always, and work closely with management teams where you will engage, liaise, and grow. This position is being offered on a full-time basis, ensuring longevity and security in your employment.We are seeking to appoint an outstanding individual to lead the group to ensure overall safety and targets are met through timely, effective, and efficient work winning and delivery of projects.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and implement the strategic directions and growth of the business, products, partners, and services.Accountable for revenue and the delivery of all maintenance output/schedule.Plan effective strategies for the financial success of the operations.Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with the major clients.Identify business risk profile and act on high-risk elements.Create a culture in the team that fosters high performance, continues the strong safety culture, and continuous improvement.QualificationsWe are looking for strong achievers who strive for results and are passionate about developing their expertise and building a successful career. To be successful you will require:Appropriate Electrical qualifications plus sound understanding and working knowledge of Civil Infrastructure, Project Management, asset management, maintenance, and technical services practices.Experience in Energex/Ergon/Essential Energy operations.Experience in Rate 2, 3 Street Light and Traffic Signal Installation.Experience in Energex URD.Energex Distribution knowledge.Managing supervisors, crew allocations, and work area.Attend weekly and monthly maintenance and planning meetings.Proven experience in leading significant projects.Proven background in leading, developing, and managing teams.Understanding of risk allocation, commercial, and contractual obligations.Excellent communication skills including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with key stakeholders.Customer focused, team oriented, accountable, and results driven.Drive and ambition.This is a great opportunity to join our dedicated team.If you are confident you have the skills and knowledge to fulfill this role, then please apply.
