We are looking for experienced Electricians in any field to join our client as Electrical Lecturers in their brand new facilities in Balga. As a Lecturer, you will bring your experience and expertise in Electrical trades to plan, develop, and deliver training and assessment to students in this study area, including apprentice, pre-apprenticeship, and pre-vocational.
As a lecturer:
you will bring your experience and expertise in Electrical trades to plan, develop, and deliver training and assessment to students in this study area, including apprentice, pre-apprenticeship, and pre-vocational
your primary role is to teach, facilitate learning, assess, and mentor students in accordance with relevant curriculum and/or training package requirements
you will undertake Professional Activities and Activities Related to Delivery
to maintain quality educational services, lecturers are required to keep abreast of technological and other developments in their field through professional development
you provide up-to-date information and advice to the College and industry, where appropriate
you have a technical background to understand and relate to the team and students
it is essential that you are able to mentor and have common sense
you will bring a positive attitude and have a professional attitude
you have excellent communication and written skills
you are an Australian citizen or permanent resident
you hold a WA Electrical Licence
you have completed several years in your Electrical trade
you hold an Electrical trade certificate
On offer is:
A full-time permanent role, 5 days a week, Monday to Friday and 37.6 hours
Salary starts from $101,402 - $108,501 + superannuation per year depending on level of experience and qualifications
Training to complete Cert IV in Training and Assessment available for the right candidate
Working from the brand new Balga TAFE facilities, but you may need to cover other campuses as required (this does not happen often)
