Our client is seeking an EI&C Engineer for an immediate start in Brisbane, Australia.
As a Electrical Engineer Electrical design, review deliverables and lead a team Project planning and management Proposals and estimation Installation and commissioning assistance The role is primarily office-based but may include site-based tasks and it is preferred that you reside in South West/East Queensland.
You must be dynamic, highly motivated and willing to support all aspects of the business including : • Field Instrumentation (various process measurement devices, valves, metering etc) • I&C engineering design and review Instrumentation specification and deliverables.
• Project planning, SOW development, vendor/subcontractors/clients co -ordination and management.
• Develop Instrumentation Installation and maintenance procedures • Installation and commissioning assistance • Technical and design focal point for clients • Ensure all Instrumentation compliance and standards are met.
Minimum Requirements: The following attributes are required: • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in instrumentation or control systems design and implementation.
• Proficient in using CAD software and instrumentation software tools; knowledge of PLCs, SCADA systems, and programming languages is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex data sets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
• Management/scheduling skills and ability to direct other engineers to complete project tasks • Must possess working rights in Australia Valued Requirements: Any of the following attributes are strongly valued: • Field instrumentation • Instrumentation for Hazardous Areas (EEHA) • Remote Telemetry Unit (RTU) • Open Communication Protocols • Control PLC & SCADA / HMI • Packaged equipment interfaces • Basic Process Control System (BPCS) • Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) • Fire and Gas Systems (F&G)
