We're looking for an Electrical Fitter Mechanic to permanently join our team located in Wandoan .

If you're ready for a rewarding career that makes a difference, consider us for your next career move and you will experience: Remuneration from $97,006 per annum + 12.75% super + housing and location allowances + other allowances The level of payment will be subject to an assessment of the applicant's knowledge, skill and competencies required for the position.
Location Incentives: Non-Urban Zone Allowance – up to $15,375 per annum.
Housing Allowance – up to $8,320 per annum.
Locality Allowance – up to $1,879 per annum.
Non-Urban Time Recognition Payments - $10,000 after 2 years and if you decide to stay on for 5, 10, 15 or even 20 years, we'll pay you $15,000 at each milestone.
Plus , when you decide it's time for a well-earned break, we'll give you an additional 4 days of annual leave per year to assist with travel to and from your chosen holiday destinations.

About the role: As an Electrical Fitter Mechanic, you will: Be trade qualified with a Queensland Electrical Fitter Mechanic licence.
Install, repair, commission and maintain various items of electrical equipment and plant.
About you: Critical to your success in the role, is your: Demonstrated knowledge of an electricity distribution/transmission system, including construction and maintenance of the electrical network.
Working knowledge of Electricity Act & Regulations, Workplace Health & Safety Act and Regulations, and other relevant statutory acts & regulations.
Availability for call out and emergency work.
Willingness to travel to surrounding areas from time to time to undertake work.
Current 'C' class open Drives Licence.
You will be required to complete a pre-employment medical as part of the selection process.
