We're looking for an Electrical Fitter Mechanic and/or Linesperson to permanently join our team located in Middlemount.

Remuneration -
From $97,006 per annum + 12.75% superannuation. The level of payment will be subject to an assessment of the applicant's knowledge, skill and competencies required for the position.
Location Incentives -
Before you dismiss the small mining town of Middlemount, first check out the additional location incentives on offer. If you're looking to boost your Superannuation before retirement or perhaps, you're saving to enter the property market, the following allowances will go a long way towards reaching your financial goals.
Non-Urban Zone Allowance – up to $15,375 per annum. Housing Allowance – up to $14,040 per annum. Locality Allowance – up to $2,366 per annum. Non-Urban Time Recognition Payments - $10,000 after 2 years and if you decide to stay on for 5, 10, 15 or even 20 years, we'll pay you $15,000 at each milestone. Plus, when you decide it's time for a well-earned break, we'll give you an additional 4 days of annual leave per year to assist with travel to and from your chosen holiday destinations.
And, if you don't currently live in this neck of the woods, well also chip in up to $10,000 relocation assistance to make the move just that little bit easier.

Be trade qualified with a Queensland Electrical Fitter Mechanic licence. Install, repair, commission and maintain various items of electrical equipment and plant. As a Linesperson, you will:
Be trade qualified with a Queensland Electrical Licensing Board Certificate of Competency as an Electrical Linesperson, or Construct, maintain and repair overhead, high, and low voltage electrical distribution and sub-transmission systems, street lighting mains and customer service lines. About you: Critical to your success in the role, is your:
Demonstrated knowledge of an electricity distribution/transmission system, including construction and maintenance of the electrical network. Availability for call out and emergency work. Willingness to travel to surrounding areas from time to time to undertake work. Current 'C' class open Drives Licence. Additionally, you will be required to complete a pre-employment medical as part of the selection process.
