Our group has now grown to an operational workforce of over 2,800 personnel with an extensive fleet of modern vehicles and equipment that operate nationwide.THE ROLEDue to continued growth, we are currently seeking an Electrical Estimator to join our Pre-Contracts team. This full-time permanent position will be located at our Head Office and is responsible for:Developing estimates and quotes ensuring they are accurate, complete and on timeProducing fixed lump sum pricing following due process of formal review approval prior to submissionCollating accurate electrical material take-offs with the ability to evaluate, identify scope anomalies and complexities through simple and complex drawingsLiaising with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and undertaking evaluations for suitabilityWorking closely with Technical Leads to compile the construction methodologies, construction schedules and tender deliverable documentationAttend occasional site inspections as required and participate in meetingsABOUT YOUThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:Electrical site experience in mining is highly desirableUnderstanding of electrical and instrumentation construction to allow building of first principle and norms-based estimatesExperience working for a project delivery contractor on mining and resources projectsAbility to effectively prioritise and execute tasksDemonstrated strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsWell-developed problem solving and decision-making abilitiesProficiency in using Microsoft Suite of applications and/or use of previous estimating software packages (preferred but not essential)Attention to detail and understanding of project/execution requirementsIN RETURNYou will be joining an existing team who will provide you with the onboarding and support to create a successful Linkforce career.
