Our Cook Colliery mine operation is working hard to mobilise three (3) development panels with a workforce of 180 people strong.
This role will report to our Senior Site Executive on site and provide supervision support to our growing underground mine operation.

Minimum skills and attributes we seek for an Electrical Engineering Manager (EEM)Develop, supervise, monitor and review the electrical engineering standards and procedures forming part of operations to ensure compliance to relevant statutory legislation;Supervise, review and advise on the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of electrical plant and installations at the operation;Maintain an up-to-date awareness of all relevant electrical safety requirements, records, legislation and policies and communicate these to employees;Liaise and communicate with the Regulator as required;Practical experience in underground development mining methods;Effective leadership style and time management;Uncompromising commitment to health, safety, environment and quality;Education and Certificates Required: Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) Australian University or Advanced Diploma of Electrical Engineering (UEE62311 or UEE62211);S123 and G2 Supervisory Certificates;Certificate of Competence to be Electrical Engineering Manager;First Aid Certificate;Emergency preparedness qualification - (RIIERR602D) Establish and maintain underground coal mine emergency preparedness and response systems;G3 Certificate - Establish and maintain the risk management system (RIIRIS601D) desirable.
