Electrical Engineer

Hayes Spraying are currently seeking a full time Electrical Engineer to join our team in Goondiwindi, Qld. Goals include automation of agricultural machinery for various applications, and integration with visual plant detection systems.
The role will be hands on with product development from design to prototype fitouts and field testing. Working with a team including software developers, visual machine learning, fabrication and mechanical design specialists. This is a great opportunity to work with and develop innovative technology in the agricultural industry.
Key Functions:Lead project activities and collaborate with both internal and external development teamsDevelop and deliver project objectives and schedules through effective planning of workload to meet performance targetsSupport other areas of the business technically with knowledge and trainingMonitor and strive to improve levels of performance and qualityExperience and qualifications:Tertiary qualifications in Electrical or Mechatronic EngineeringExperience in systems integration including hardware and softwareExceptional technical and problem solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong time management skills in meeting deadlines for project planning and reportingSalary range $80,000 - $90,000 per annum + super, aligned with your skills and experience.
