About the role
The Thomas Elder Sustainable Agriculture team is embarking on an exciting period of growth and now we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Carbon Farming Program Manager to join us and help drive growth in our carbon farming services to clients across Australia.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in evolving and implementing Elders Carbon Farming strategy while being responsible for pursuing and overseeing the delivery of Elders portfolio of carbon farming projects with flexibility on location for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of Elders carbon farming strategy, aligning activity of the carbon farming team with business goals and market trends.
Oversee a portfolio of carbon farming projects, from inception to completion, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the extensive Elders network to drive project success and foster a culture of innovation.
Oversee financial performance of carbon farming projects and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Analyse market trends and identify new opportunities for carbon farming.
Position Elders as a leading provider of carbon farming services and solutions.
About you
Demonstrated project management and delivery experience.
Experience with carbon farming – particularly ACCU methods aligned to enhancing Australian agriculture.
Practical understanding of relevant carbon farming stakeholders (technical, commercial and regulatory).
Solid Financial, Project Management and reporting ability.
Relevant tertiary qualifications (i.e.
Project Management, Agronomy, Soil Science, Natural Resource Management, or GIS).
