The EL2 Director Quality is a crucial leadership role within the NDIA, holding delegated authority and responsibility to address issues and risks across a wide range of detailed activities. This role involves providing leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management, and decision-making for team members and assigned contractors.
The position demands a high degree of independence, utilizing advanced decision-making and judgment. The role also requires coordinating and overseeing highly complex or sensitive projects and work programs that have strategic or operational significance to the NDIA.
The key duties of the position include:The EL2 Director Quality is tasked with initiating, establishing, and maintaining robust relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. When necessary, this role will represent and negotiate on behalf of the NDIA to promote its interests in cross-agency, inter-jurisdictional, and other forums.
Oversight of quality management systems for external Partners in the Community.Ensuring consistent and transparent quality management processes.Leading a team to deliver a high performing Partner Quality framework.Analysis and synthesis of information to identify key continuous improvement opportunities.Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to discuss and prioritise key quality priorities.Essential skills and attributes for effectively performing the duties of this role:Ability to lead a team independently to deliver results.Understanding of NDIS processes, Quality systems and Partner in the Community role.Ability to synthesise and analyse information to provide key performance insights.Effective internal and external stakeholder management skills.Ability to write and generate high quality reports.
