In doing so, we understand the importance of investing in and supporting our workforce, fostering a culture of excellence, well-being, and providing the necessary training and resources to excel.To support this, we are seeking a Director of Work Health and Safety for the JCG Headquarters who will lead a small dedicated team in providing Chief of Joint Capabilities (CJC) and other JCG Senior Leaders with strategic Work Health and Safety advice. As part of the core leadership team, the Director Work Health and Safety is a pivotal role requiring strategic vision, exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and extensive knowledge of legislative frameworks.About our TeamThe Work Health and Safety Directorate is part of the JCG Headquarters. The Directorate's primary role is to provide CJC as Domain Lead for Space and Cyber, and Defence Lead for National Support and Information Operations with strategic Work Health and Safety advice. The Directorate also provides advice and support to the Work Health and Safety and Governance staff embedded within seven Functional Commands and is accountable for the JCG Work Health and Safety governance arrangements, assurance program and for developing and sustaining the JCG Safety Management System.JCG is an integrated workforce made up of personnel of the Australian Defence Force (ADF), Australian Public Service (APS) and industry partners.
