$115,899 - $130,733 + 10% BDCP + up to 15.4% Superannuation Albury - NSW, Brisbane CBD - QLD, Canberra - ACT, Melbourne CBD - VIC, Townsville - QLD, Perth - WA The Role Defence Digital Group (DDG) are seeking experienced EL 1 Lead Project Schedulers who have a strength in scheduling projects in an ICT/digital environment.
Our mission is to generate and sustain digital capabilities and effects in order to defend Australia and its national interests and these roles will ensure that Defence capability is delivered in a timely manner.
Our EL 1 Lead Project Schedulers will: Act as an expert member of a project team, guiding team members and delivering output to effectively manage risks and project schedules.
Create detailed project schedules that outline tasks, dependencies, durations, and milestones, using project management software and tools.
Engage proactively with project managers, team members, senior leaders and other stakeholders to gather information necessary for schedule development.
Continuously monitor project progress and update schedules.
Identify and raise potential risks or delays, and create mitigation strategies.
Ensure that the project schedule aligns with the project scope and objectives by leading regular reviews to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the schedule.
Have a full understanding of key resources or changes in priorities may impact the ability to adhere to the original project schedule.
Provide regular updates on schedule status, highlighting any deviations from the original plan.
Support the professionalisation of your team and other schedulers.
Most of DDG's projects use agile delivery.
Further training, development and professionalisation will be provided.
DDG will be creating merit pools to fill vacancies across the Organisation over the next 18 months.
This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP).
This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Agreement (DEA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability.
