Australian Fisheries Management Authority Full time ONGOING VACANCY EL 1 Manager People Capability Corporate Services Branch, Canberra (C00869) AFMA is looking for an HR professional with diverse HR experience to join our small, flexible, and supportive team as the EL 1 Manager People Capability.
As the Manager, People Capability, you will lead and manage a small multidisciplinary team providing both operational and strategic HR support to AFMA across a range of human resource functions.
The primary role is to assist the Senior Manager, People, Capability and Engagement to deliver specific workforce programs and projects that ensure AFMA has a workforce that possesses the capabilities required to deliver our strategic objectives.
The Manager, People Capability also provides high-level leadership and operational direction to a small team to ensure the effective delivery of key programs across a range of HR functions including workforce planning, workplace relations, performance management, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, work health and safety including rehabilitation case management.
Eligibility AFMA staff are employed under the Australian Public Service Act 1999.
All applicants must be Australian citizens.Applicant must hold or have the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance.Ability to undertake travel as required specifically to other AFMA office locations (Lakes Entrance, Darwin and Thursday Island).Extensive generalist HR knowledge and experience.Salary: $119,329 - $132,627
