This is an exciting leadership opportunity where you will oversee facilities management, lifecycle maintenance, compliance, and emergency planning while supporting the organisation's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement facilities management plans, policies, and systems.
Manage procurement and contracts for outsourced services such as catering, cleaning, and utilities.
Lead emergency and incident response, acting as the Chief Warden.
Ensure compliance with Commonwealth procurement and heritage conservation requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

About You: We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional with: Qualifications or Experience : A background in facilities management, construction, or a related field (mandatory).
Leadership Skills : Ability to coach, mentor, and manage team performance.
Expertise : Knowledge of facilities management in a heritage context and Commonwealth procurement standards.
Problem-Solving Skills : Proven ability to develop strategic policies and manage complex issues.
Security Clearance : Eligibility to obtain and maintain an NV1/Baseline security clearance (At Client cost).
Desirable : Experience in managing heritage facilities.
