*Closing Date: 20 May 2024, 12:00 PMface2face reference: 610542Location: Geelong VIC, Richmond VIC, Brisbane QLD, Surry Hills NSW, Newcastle NSW, Adelaide SA Hours: Full-timeContract length: 12 Month Contract + Possible Extension (Pending approval)Entry requirements: Australian Citizen + Pre-engagement CheckPay range: $602.55 daily, ex superAbout the role: The EL1 Business Analyst is responsible for actively managing crucial internal and external stakeholder relationships.Additionally, they may act as a representative and negotiator within the Service Design and Improvement Branch to promote the department's interests.Duties: Identifying and documenting current business processes to create baseline understanding of current situation and processes.Creating and facilitating process design improvements by conducting business and systems process analysis.Providing program/stream level analysis and producing required analysis documentation.Providing expertise and supporting the Product Owner to elaborate user stories, acceptance criteria and process maps with the input from SMEs.Providing assistance to Product Owner with the use of internal systems.Required experience/skills: Proficiency in analysing and documenting current state versus future state process maps.Ability to elicit, document and manage business requirements into Epics and User Stories Strong problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements Ability to undertake systems testing against defined acceptance criteria during the build and testing cycles of development Facilitating workshops with other stakeholders, Business Analysts, User Experience and User Interface (UX/UI) Designers and technology teams.Desirable experience skills: Data analysis Agile Methodologies Business Analysis Tools Process Improvement Cross-functional collaboration Please note: You must be an Australian Citizen to apply for this role.
