They are currently seeking a skilled individual for an EL Assistant Director Policy role to support across multiple branches by shaping policy and designing/implementing important reforms.
The RoleIn this role you will engage in complex problem solving and issue management to produce policy advice. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Leading a team to develop contemporary and informed policy and strategies. Building relationships and engaging with internal and external stakeholders. Leading development of policy and corporate documents to a high standard. Designing and delivering engagement activities. Using data and technical inputs to form recommendations. Leading reform projects in line with the organisations reform program. Managing and providing policy leadership to a team. Contributing to building a positive and high performing team culture. About You:
A relevant bachelor's degree. Policy and team leadership experience. Experience developing and interpreting policy, analysing data and information, preparing and reviewing policy papers, reports, presentations, briefings and correspondence. Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills. Superior communication and stakeholder management skills. Candidates with an understanding and experience relating to the disability sector will be considered favourably.
