Our Partner client is a retailer, chain specializing in household and consumer goods,
including cosmetics, stationery, toys, and kitchenware.

About the Role
As the National Operations Manager, you will lead and oversee all retail operations across multiple
stores, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
You will be responsible for developing
and implementing operational strategies, driving performance, and fostering a high-performing
culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Systems Development:
Build and refine operational systems to ensure compliance with Australian regulations and global operational standards.
Develop processes and frameworks to drive efficiency and consistency across all stores.
Team Leadership and Management:
Lead, train, and inspire Area Managers and Store Managers to deliver exceptional store
performance and customer satisfaction.
Establish a high-performing culture through effective leadership, coaching, and development
programs.
Store Performance Optimization:
Monitor store operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective
actions.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
Strategic Planning and Growth:
Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational strategies with business objectives.
Oversee the planning and execution of new store openings, including site selection, setup,
and staffing.
Customer Experience:
Drive initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and improve the overall shopping
experience.
Analyze feedback and market trends to innovate and adapt operational strategies.
Budget and Financial Oversight:
Manage operational budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability across the retail
network.
Implement measures to control expenses and optimize resources.
Qualifications:
1.
Minimum 5 years of senior retail operations management experience in the Australian market,
ideally within a startup or scaling business.
2.
In-depth understanding of Australian retail regulations and compliance requirements.
3.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
4.
Adaptable and resourceful, thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
