Your Role at St John of God Bunbury Hospital We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Educator to join our supportive Maternity education team. As a member of the divisional Learning and Development team, you will be responsible for the delivery, assessment and evaluation of Learning and Development programs and activities that reflect best practice standards to achieve excellence in service. The Position Work collaboratively with Department Managers and relevant stakeholders In collaboration with the L&D Coordinators identify educational needs through a variety of means (i.e. needs assessment framework) that are aligned with strategic and operational planning, risk management strategy and organisational and local policy Use adult learning principles when facilitating learning Deliver, assess and evaluate local learning impact of programs, in accordance with standardised models to ensure that outcomes are achieved Provide mentoring, coaching and support to caregivers through experiential learning and assist other members of the team to undertake the same Participate in student supervision (undergraduate and postgraduate) as directed Collaborate with a range of health professionals to promote a multidisciplinary approach to learning You will hold general registration as a Health Practitioner (Registered Nurse) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), with knowledge of quality improvement and relevant Accreditation and licensing processes and associated links to learning and development programs that promote quality service delivery and safety. To succeed you will have well-developed interpersonal, communication and mentoring/coaching skills with the ability to engage with a diverse workplace. You will have effective conflict resolution, negotiation and problem solving skills with the understanding and demonstrated application of adult learning principles. Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems blended learning strategies and a range of computer packages is essential. Above all, people will be at the core of everything you do committing to and supporting our Mission and Values We can offer you Salary : $100,858.11 - $107,722.77 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) + 11% superannuation Permanent part-time position available, working 30.4 hours per fortnight.
