The successful candidate will have a strong focus on developing strong relationships with Educators, possess strong leadership skills, and be passionate about creating a creative learning environment for our children.
You will be someone who is willing to participate in, and contribute to the setup of our service, our practices, policies, and be a pivotal and valued member of our team.

Key responsibilities include: Lead reflective discussions about practice and implementing the learning frameworkMentor other educators by leading quality practiceDiscuss routines and how to make them more effective learning experiencesObserve children and educator interactions, and make suggestions on how to improve interactions and intentional teachingDevelop, plan and implement quality educational programsBe innovative and motivated to lead a centre to become the centre of choice for families within the local communityMonitor and document children's progress & individual children's portfoliosHave a strong, confident and motivated personality with an ambition to provide education and care standards of excellenceDevelop open communication channels with staff, children and families of the centreContribute to the effective operation of the workplace by supporting colleagues, sharing ideas and information, & working as a team playerComply with the centre's policies and procedures along with licensing, legislation & regulationsAssist children with their daily routines & support them in their learningCreate a stimulating environment to foster & support children's developmentIt is a full-time permanent position, working 38 hours a week Monday - Friday.
As our Educational Leader, you will be required to guide and support our team of 38 Educators in providing a curriculum that fosters each child's individuality and stimulates them educationally, actively, emotionally and socially. Successful applicants must: Have completed a Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care or an Early Childhood Teaching degreeFirst Aid and Asthma/Anaphylaxis CertificateWorking with Children's CheckHave a strong understanding of the Children's Services Regulations, Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)Possess excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skillsBe approachable and well respectedBe knowledgeable about theories, pedagogy and the relevant learning frameworksBe knowledgeable about the NQS and related regulatory standardsBe skilled at supporting educators of varying abilities and learning stylesAnd most of all, a passion for programming!What's in it for you?
