About the Role: As the Director, Financial Performance Reporting you will:
Ensure that the department meets its statutory financial reporting requirements by reviewing and developing appropriate financial and accounting frameworks, systems, policies and procedures which ensure the integrity and usefulness of financial accounting information.
Responsibilities include: Lead and deliver robust, high quality financial and statutory reporting for the department. Lead the ongoing development and delivery of performance reporting for the department. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the fixed asset register and contribute to sound asset portfolio management. Contribute to the development of sustainable and efficient financial policy models and systems. Lead and cultivate high performing teams through effective leadership, empowerment of staff, supportive feedback on performance and promotion of professional development. Deliver and implement innovative financial services and solutions that meet and exceed client expectations. Contribute to the achievement of the Financial Services Branch vision through the provision of strategic advice, active participation in the senior management team, promoting a collegiate approach to activities across the branch and the successful implementation of branch plans. Other suitable duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the supervisor or nominated delegate.
