About the Position You will need to perform non-teaching duties to assist the teaching staff in the Early Childhood, Primary or Secondary Schools, providing care and supervision for students including running Learning Support Intervention and the implementation of documented plans for students with additional needs to track curriculum and teaching adjustments.
Our Special Needs Assistants support students with a range of additional needs, including students with Down Syndrome, Autism, ADHD, anxiety, language difficulties and learning disabilities. For the Special Needs role, preference will be given to candidates who have gained experience supporting students with additional learning needs.
Part-time and full-time positions are available. Candidates who are currently studying towards Cert III and IV in School Based Education Support are invited to apply.

you must be actively involved in a local Protestant Christian church and be able to demonstrate an exemplary Christian lifestyle, you must hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check, you must be willing to obtain a Department of Education Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, and a Certificate III or IV in Education Support or previous experience is desirable.
