It is anticipated that the salary range for this role will increase potentially to $95,102 to $107,905.
About the role We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Education Adviser to join our Community Engagement unit. Reporting to the Senior Education Adviser, you will play a pivotal role in assisting with the planning and delivery of our learning program, aligned with our community engagement strategy.
You will contribute to the development of programs and resources, research, and project and program evaluation, fostering engagement with Victoria's education sector and enhancing knowledge of parliament and our democratic system.
About you As a qualified and experienced educator, the ideal candidate for this role is a skilled communicator with a talent for building relationships with key stakeholders in Victoria's education sector. You have exceptional writing and planning skills, with a keen eye for detail. Your extensive knowledge of contemporary education practice and curriculum will underpin your development of engaging content and resources for diverse audiences.
You will thrive in our dynamic environment, collaborating with the Community Engagement team to design, develop, and implement innovative educational programs that align with primary, secondary, and tertiary curricula. Your problem-solving skills will come into play as you develop creative solutions to resolve communications and stakeholder issues, making a tangible impact on our community engagement efforts.
You will possess a Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching or equivalent, and registered or qualified to register with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
