About the Role
As an Education Administration Officer, you will be responsible for daily the management of administrative tasks related to the work of the AIATSIS Education team.
Key Duties Assistance in the recording and tracking of progress against activities under the Education workplanManagement of email and other incoming inquiries made to the Education team, including re-direction and escalation of enquiries as appropriateRecords management, including file management, minute-taking and recording and compilation of relevant data to assist the Education team to comply with reporting requirements.Support of school visits, including organising material for students and supporting their involvement in activities during schools programs with direction from senior team members.Other duties as directed.Our ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate:
An ability to work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a teamExcellent organisational skills, demonstrating an understanding of project management principlesAn ability to manage multiple tasks and competing prioritiesAn ability to meet deadlinesAn ability to follow, update and draft policies and procedures relevant to the work of the education teamStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience in using the microsoft office 365 suite including for file management, calendar management, and formatting documents, reports and presentationsRespectful engagement with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.Wwvp registration or willingness to get one.Desirable attributes Study or work experience in the field of Education will be looked upon favourably.
