This is a fully remote role, with a requirement to travel for occasional fieldwork and functions.

So, what can you expect?
The Appointment This role will oversee environmental projects, both impact assessments and conservation engagements.
This role will work alongside Senior Ecologist/s and other Ecologists/Environmental Consultants in the field and office, conduct field research and surveys, complete data collation and reporting, and communicate with clients, subcontractors, and various other parties.
This role will assist in defining the project scope and technical approaches and ensuring that quality products are being delivered to meet customer expectations.
Am I a fit? To be considered for this role, you will be degree qualified with field assessment experience in botanical surveys, flora and fauna identification, Plant Community Type (PCT) mapping, and targeted threatened species surveys in accordance with the NSW Biodiversity Assessment Method (BAM).
Demonstrated capability and basic experience working with GIS software is highly desirable.
You will be able to travel for field-based work when required and have a reliable 4WD to do so.
Of most importance is your attitude and ability to interact with others.
You will be able to engage with clients and represent the business with pride.
