Hays Technology has partnered with an Employer of Choice based in the Brisbane CBD to appoint an EBP Developer Lead to a 24-month contract. This role offers 3 days' work from home per week and the opportunity for extension on a multi-year program of work.
Your new role
The EBP Developer Lead plays a pivotal role in the client's Enterprise Business Platform (EBP) team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions that align with their strategic goals. This position requires a technical leader with extensive expertise in Dynamics 365, particularly the Customer Service and Field Service modules, as well as proficiency in coding and a proven ability to guide and inspire a collaborative, high-performing team.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership: Serve as the technical authority for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform development within the EBP team, with a specific focus on the Field Service and Customer Service modules.Team Leadership: Mentor and motivate a team of developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.Solution Development: Lead the design and delivery of robust, secure, and scalable solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and established quality standards.Collaboration: Partner closely with EBP architecture specialists, the Platform Manager, and other team members to ensure solutions align with architectural frameworks and organisational objectives.Quality Assurance: Advocate for a quality-first approach in all development activities by incorporating rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to established standards.Culture Building: Promote a strong, inclusive team culture that values mutual respect, innovation, and collective success. Demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and discourage siloed working or hero-based behaviours.What you'll need to succeedExperience: A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 development, including custom coding and system integration.Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, .NET, and familiarity with Dynamics 365 APIs.Experience integrating systems using Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, and related tools.Knowledge of SQL, web services, and data management best practices.Analytical and Problem-Solving: Ability to analyse business requirements and troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.Collaboration and Component-Focused Development: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, liaising with stakeholders to deliver re-usable, component-based solutions that meet business needs and promote long-term scalability.Attention to Detail: Focus on accuracy in coding, testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality outcomes.Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to new tools, frameworks, and practices to stay ahead in a fast-evolving technical landscape.Agile Methodology: Proficiency in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, iterative development, and continuous delivery, ensuring responsiveness to changing requirements and priorities.Code and Peer Reviews: Commitment to maintaining high development standards through regular code and peer reviews, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.What you'll get in returnIn return, you'll be offered a competitive daily rate based on your skills and expertise.
