The Opportunity 2-year fixed term contractWe're looking for an Early Years Compliance Officer to join our team! You will play a key role in guiding and upholding standards in Early Childhood and Care services across Catholic Education SA, ensuring that every child experiences a safe, supportive, and enriching learning environment.
Catholic Education SA has oversight of:
70 services registered with the Education Standards Board: (2 Early Learning Centres (ELCs), 9 Preschools, 12 Occasional Care Services, and 47 Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) Services)68 Supported Playgroups and 19 OSHC services contracts with Third Party Providers. As a member of our Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) team, you will assist in informing current and future directions in the provision of Early Childhood Education and Care in Catholic Education South Australia as it relates to Early Learning Centres, Preschools, Occasional Care, and Out of School Hours Care services. You will work under the direction of the Manager: Learning and Curriculum to provide strategic advice on legislative regulations, helping our schools meet compliance and operational requirements.
You will: Implement the strategy for early childhood services, including ELCs, Preschools, Occasional Care, and OSHC.Establish and implement protocols and procedures related to Early Childhood Education and Care.Develop resources to support school and ECEC leaders in meeting legislative requirements.Provide expert advice on regulatory matters, ensuring adherence to the National Quality Framework (NQF).Oversee compliance processes, monitoring safety, health, and educational outcomes.About you: Demonstrate a commitment to the ethos of Catholic education and a knowledge and understanding of Catholic schools.Hold an ACECQA approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care In-depth knowledge and understanding of early childhood policies, legislation and regulations at the state and national level.
