A fulltime Centre Chef position has become available in Brindabella Early Learning Centre.

As the Centre Chef, you will be cooking nutritious meals that will be an important part of children's growth and development.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Prepare and cook nutritious meals that are culturally appropriate for children 3-6 years (Including morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea) in a timely manner.Provide for/or supplement alternative foods/beverages for children with allergies or special food/dietary requirements.Ensure that all food is stored in compliance with Health Regulations.Evaluate the menu on a regular basis.Co-ordinate the purchasing of food and supplies.The successful candidate must:
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent.Have sound knowledge of food preparation, nutritional standards, menu planning, food hygiene practices, and kitchen management.Hold a current First Aid Qualification (Early Childhood specific).Hold a WWVP card.Previous experience working in an Early Education and Care service (Preferable).Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Positive, caring attitude and willingness to improve.Professional presentation.Benefits of working with us:
