In co-operation with the Educational Leader, The Early Childhood Teacher will be responsible for the development and evolution of the curriculum and progress of the designated room.
You will be part of a unique team environment, with a network of support across services as well as comprehensive wellbeing programs. As an Early Childhood Teacher you will have access to leadership and support on emerging trends impacting the sector through our specialised Pedagogy and Quality Assurance teams.
This role is being offered on a permanent full-time basis, located at our Raymond Terrace Service. Desired Skills and ExperienceEXPERIENCE/CRITERIA Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to share information with parent's dailyEffective implementation of the ELYF curriculum suitable to the needs and interests of children in careDemonstrated ability to work as part of a team and support co-workers in their professional developmentDemonstrated experience in assessing needs of children, monitoring their progress and ensuring school reading when applicableExcellent organizational skills and concise record managementDemonstrated understanding of:
National Quality Framework (NQF);Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF);Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting and Workplace Health and Safety issues and practicesQUALIFICATIONS Degree in Early Childhood Teaching as recognised by the Australian Children's Education and Care Authority (mandatory), OR an approved Diploma level qualification in Children's Services as identified by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (candidates currently studying towards obtaining their teaching degree will be considered if they have a suitable amount of experience).NSW accredited TeacherCurrent First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management trainingWorking with Children Check verification numberIf you genuinely share our passion for Early Childhood Education we would love to hear from you! APPLY now.
