Green Leaves Early Learning has committed to supporting the professional development and practice of our ECTs with the appointment of a dedicated mentor to co-research, create, and develop innovative learning and teaching practices.
Our Mentors and ECTs are provided regular opportunities to collaborate with our National Learning Research and Development Partner (NLRDP) – Dr Karen Grubb, through face-to-face and online mentoring; access to weekly articles and examples of practice shared by our services on the Storypark platform; networking with other ECTs across our organisation; and participation in practical professional development opportunities that extend their pedagogical and educational understandings.
We are seeking ECTs who recognise they are lifelong learners, share practice that aspires to be current, responsive, and transformative, and view themselves as research partners when supporting and mentoring others in our education team.
