About the role We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our dedicated team at Goodwood Community Childrens Centre. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the lives of young children through engaging and enriching educational experiences. What you'll be doing Plan and deliver high-quality, age-appropriate educational programs that foster the holistic development of childrenCreate a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that promotes children's physical, cognitive, social and emotional wellbeingObserve and document children's progress, and use this information to inform your teaching practicesCollaborate with parents and caregivers to build strong partnerships and support the individual needs of each childContribute to the overall operations of the centre, including participating in staff meetings, professional development, and centre eventsWhat we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years' experience working as an Early Childhood Teacher or Lead EducatorThorough knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and a demonstrated ability to implement it effectivelyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleaguesCreativity and a passion for inspiring young minds through engaging and play-based learningCommitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in early childhood educationWhat we offer Small groups of children, 30 place centre with 3 age groups.Laptop provided Competitive salary Opportunities for professional development and career advancementSupportive and collaborative team environmentDiscounted childcare services for employeesFlexible work arrangements to support work-life balanceAbout us Goodwood Community Child Care Centre is a highly respected early learning centre that has been serving the local community for over 50 years.
