Key Responsibilities
Conduct Engaging Training Sessions: Lead informative and interactive training sessions for students pursuing Early Childhood Education qualifications, utilising a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
Curriculum Delivery and Review: Deliver a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with current industry standards and best practices, ensuring that students gain both practical and theoretical knowledge. Provide input and support in the ongoing review of training resources.
Assess and Evaluate Student Progress: Monitor and evaluate student performance through assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and professional growth.
Create an Inclusive Learning Environment: Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, supported, and motivated to succeed.
Stay Informed on Early Childhood Education Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest developments, research, and trends in child care to ensure that the training provided is relevant and forward-thinking.
Mentor and Support Students: Offer guidance and support to students throughout their academic journey, helping them navigate challenges and achieve their career goals.
Collaborate for Program Improvement: Work collaboratively with colleagues to review and enhance training programs, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation in Early Childhood Education training.
Qualifications
Industry Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care) and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Teaching Experience: Proven experience in teaching or training, with a strong background in Early Childhood Education. Experience in a similar training role is highly desirable.
