Cloncurry Shire Council is seeking an Early Childhood Casual Assistant (Qualified) to join our vibrant team.

Salary & Benefits: $61,000 to $66,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Superannuation.5 weeks of Annual LeaveRemote Area Housing Assistance ($60 per week for Renting / $90 per week for Homeowner)Rostered Days Off (RDOs)Personal (Sick) Leave.In this role, you will support the development, implementation, and assessment of programs designed to meet the individual and collective needs of children at various stages of development.
You will work closely with educators, ensuring adherence to Curry Kids and Council policies, procedures, standards, and legislation while actively contributing to the Quality Improvement and Accreditation processes.
Key Responsibilities: Monitor, record, and evaluate individual children's activities while providing feedback to the Group Leader to enhance care and program effectiveness.Maintain open communication with parents regarding their children's developmental needs and interests, encouraging their participation in programs.Ensure the safety and well-being of all children through diligent supervision.Requirements: Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.Current First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis Certificates, or the ability to acquire them before commencement.Current Positive Notice Working with Children Blue Card and a police clearance.For a more detailed job outline, please see the attached Position Description.
