EARLY CHILDHOOD ACTIVITY GROUP LEADER (ROVING POSITION)Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position
Job DescriptionOur client is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and suitably qualified person to join their team as an Early Childhood Activity Group Leader (roving position).
As a key member of the team, you'll provide essential support to all kindergartens across the Boort, Dingee, Inglewood, Pyramid Hill, and Wedderburn areas, ensuring quality education and care.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage teaching and learning programs across various kindergartens in collaboration with the Kindergarten Coordinator.Ensure compliance with service policies, funding requirements, and relevant regulations.Contribute to the development and implementation of the Quality Improvement Plan, promoting continuous improvement.Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in line with the service's privacy policy.Stay current with trends and issues in early childhood services and maintain professional networks.Fulfill the responsibilities of a nominated supervisor, ensuring compliance with the Education and Care Services Act and Regulations.Act decisively on urgent matters, as needed, to ensure the service meets required standards.Carry out additional duties as directed by the Kindergarten Coordinator.What We Offer: Competitive hourly rateOngoing training and professional developmentWork vehicle provided for travel between kindergartensOpportunity to be part of a supportive and dynamic teamWho Can Apply: Australian citizens, permanent residents, or those with a valid work visaApplicants aged 18 or olderEssential Qualifications & Experience: Minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalentWorking with Children Check (employee status)First Aid Certificate for emergency responses in education and care settingsProven experience working with children in an education or care environmentFor more information about this position, please contact HOBAN Laverton Branch on 03 9325 3***.
