This is an exciting project for anyone interested in being part of a large digital transformation project and developing expertise in the most widely used Council SAAS solution in Australia.To assist us with this transformation, GRC are looking for an IT professional to join our team for a fixed term of 2 years, the position is based in Gympie.Role Overview:This role provides dedicated project management for the TechnologyOne CiA Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) project.
The Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the EAM implementation, ensuring alignment with the overarching GRiT ERP Program objectives.Essential Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications:5-7 Years in technology Project Management, with a focus on Asset Management systems.Ability to plan, lead, coordinate and control multiple project streams for the Program.Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Finance, Project Management, or relevant experience in related disciplines.Demonstrated expertise in delivering large-scale, complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, with proven track record in managing ERP projects, specifically EAM implementations.Strong understanding of TechnologyOne CiA, including its EAM module and broader ERP ecosystem.Demonstrated expertise in planning and preparing project management scope, schedules, resource plans, risk management plans, communication and change plans, and budgets.Strong proficiency with MS Project and Office suite.High level competency and experience as a Project Manager / Scrum Master in leading projects demonstrating different software development methodologies, specifically Iterative, Incremental, Waterfall and Agile.Experience in measuring project success factors with respect to cost, schedule, and quality.Experience in consulting, partnering with and coaching senior leaders and stakeholders to deliver project outcomes.Ability to obtain a detailed awareness of all current and long-term plans for Council, with in-depth understanding of local government operations, including relevant legislative frameworks.Highly developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work autonomously and derive instructions under the broad direction of the Program strategy.Strong skills in problem solving and predictive analysis.Queensland 'C' Class driver's licence that is current and maintained.Key Responsibilities of the Role:Contribute to the development of the overall transformation and change strategy for the GRiT Program.Lead the development and implementation of project scope and plans to manage project streams.Provide leadership on ERP and EAM best practices.Learn and understand Council business processes while leading the identification, documentation of business requirements.Ensure all business deliverables are identified and accounted for in the project plan.Track resources and identify any shortages based on project plans.Understand program workstream/project relationships and lead issue resolution.Drive the projects to completion by managing budget, costs, schedule, work breakdown structure, quality and risks.Guide the data migration, testing, and deployment phases of the project.Provide guidance and leadership to the resources working within the projects.Mentor and coach new additions to the project team.Collaborate with peers and colleagues in project and business teams.Ensure seamless integration of the EAM system with other TechnologyOne CiA modules.Assist in the transition and transformation to the new technology.Evaluate the success of project outcomes and obtain realised value of the technology initiatives after implementation.Position DescriptionFor a full position description containing essential and desirable criteria, please click here.Who to ContactFor information regarding the requirements of this role, please contact Council's Project Manager, Cam Haydon via email we offer?Nine-day fortnight / flexible work hours.Access to employee health and well-being programs.Fitness Passport: work out at over 25 local gyms for you and your family at a subsidised rate.Long service leave after seven years.Access to salary sacrificing and salary packaging arrangements.Employee assistance program offering free confidential counselling services for employees and their families.Our ValuesAccountabilityCommunicationCustomer Service FocusedIntegrityTeamwork and CollaborationOur ProcessSuccessful applicants will be required to undertake various checks such as skills, qualifications, reference, medical and national police.Keen to apply-Simply follow the instructions below:1) Download and review the position description above2) Complete the information below as requested using your personal email.3) Click 'APPLY'4) Attach your resume, covering letter and a single document containing copies of your qualifications, licences or tickets as applicable.5) Click 'NEXT' and 'CONFIRM'Please note before continuing: It is advisable that you prepare your responses in a separate word or text document, saving your work as you go and that you then copy and paste this prepared information in the form before completing the application process.Applications close on Sunday 5th January 2025 at 11.00pm AEST.
