E&I Senior Project Engineer

Job description Job Overview: We are looking for a Senior E&I Project Engineer to join our client's Perth-based team.
You will coordinate project plans, schedules, and activities, ensuring compliance with policies.
You will supervise project personnel, bridge the gap between the Project Manager and Engineers, assist with design interpretation, and ensure accuracy in bills of materials, schedules, and forecasts.
Responsibilities: - Guide and review the project team's work for technical accuracy.
- Oversee engineering, procurement, and quality control to ensure successful execution.
- Ensure the design team meets customer requirements and regulatory standards.
- Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and keep the risk register updated.
- Maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, vendors, and suppliers.
- Communicate project status and key performance indicators, track costs, and forecast trends.
- Manage project costs, including gross margin and financial reporting.
- Address issues from Project Control Reports and resolve team conflicts.
Requirements: - Extensive experience in engineering, project management, and supervisory roles.
- University degree in engineering and professional registration.
- Project Management Professional certification (IPMA, APM, PMI, AIPM).
- Experience in EPCM and EPC projects, including site assignments in diverse environments.
- Proficiency in project management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
What's Offered: - Minimal site travel required - Initial 12-month contract - 5 days in the CBD office - $115/$120 p/h incl.
