The Opportunity As the E-Commerce Merchandising Specialist, you will be the centre of expertise for all things E-Commerce. You will be accountable for leading all aspects of our online store including onsite developments, projects and meeting the performance objectives with a focus on sales and conversion rate. This role will need to engage with teams in UNIQLO Australia office and Global HQ in Japan, and work closely with the marketing team and all other relevant teams to ensure all communication and creative aligns with the brand and is consistent with wider e-commerce and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Achieve performance objectives: Sales, Gross Margin %.Make product mix of full lineup as Digital Flag Ship Store and product mix that suits each country's needs.Develop opportunities from daily business results and revise plan, reflecting customer demands for next season's plans.Implement remaining measures (change of sales promotion, mark down, etc.) according to sales results to sell out all items.Responsible for driving growth and awareness for our Website (PC & Mobile) and APP.Responsible for Website traffic & Conversion.Online Merchandising and Inventory management with site operation, inventory control, and logistics: Featured products/Ranges/Daily allocation.Identifying opportunities for site improvements in line with industry best practice and managing development agenda with development team overseas.Ensuring alignment of online activities with retail stores.Reporting of store performance including GA4, traffic source, sales and trend data - tracking conversion rates, analytics and making improvements to the website.Collect and analyse customer service care statistics and develop customer service success metrics.Prepare relevant reports for different departments and management.Work closely with all relevant stakeholders to ensure all projects are launched successfully.Experience, Skills and Knowledge Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in e-commerce, specifically in the retail or fashion sector.Previous experience managing and directing 3rd parties or projects to achieve business outcomes.In-depth knowledge of the e-commerce landscape, staying current with industry trends and best practices.Microsoft Excel to involve data management, analysis, budgeting, performing calculations, creating reports, or organizing information.Proficient in using Jira and GA4 at an expert level for comprehensive e-commerce analysis.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to a cross-cultural environment.Demonstrates organizational efficiency, attention to detail, and a methodical approach.Applies creative and analytical thinking to drive results in e-commerce performance.Possesses a working knowledge of tracking customer journeys for strategic decision-making.Ability to analyse and leverage data to enhance performance across various e-commerce aspects.Strong attention to detail with the capability to develop processes for ongoing accuracy improvement.Able to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic e-commerce environment.Customer service-oriented and solution-driven approach.What's in it for You?
