This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in driving technological innovation while ensuring security and efficiency across our organisation.This position provides support to the Head of IT to develop, enhance, upgrade and support Microsoft Dynamics BC (BC) functionality including interfaces to internal and external systems using our current and future frameworks. Peacock Group's current framework includes BC C/Side code, SQL Reporting Services, SCRIBE Insight, Power Platform, web development (HTML, CSS, REST APIs), Azure cloud services, CI/CD pipelines and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide level 2 and 3 support to BC Users and provide BC expertise to external suppliers including Web Developers and BC contractors.Assist with the creation and maintenance of BC test environments.Ensure BC is available in production and measures are in place for data replication to our Business Continuity site.Produce documentation on systems developed/enhanced including accurate Standard Operating Procedures.Maintain application user tables and responsibilities in BC.Liaise with staff to ensure all enhancements are adequately tested before being deployed into the live database.Assist with BC database tuning and record-locking investigations.Monitor BC end-of-period processes and Web services to ensure all are running smoothly.Assist with BC upgrades including object migration and the merging of existing enhancements and functionality into the newer objects.Assist with the creation and maintenance of Application Roles in BC.Knowledgeable in efficient implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of CI/CD pipelines.About YouThe successful applicant will have:Advanced knowledge of contemporary IT application development methodologies.Sound interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, and the ability to maintain effective relationships with a wide variety of people.Proven ability to work effectively under pressure, handle competing priorities, meet deadlines, and manage activities through to completion.Ability to work both as an individual and as a member of a team.A commercial focus, combined with the ability to develop an understanding of the business.Representing both yourself and the company ethically both internally and externally; always maintaining a professional attitude.Ability to effectively meet client needs and take responsibility for client satisfaction.Focus on continuous quality improvement.Ability to produce meaningful and accurate documentation on application enhancements.Proficient in platform-specific development, integrating CRM systems with third-party vendors, and adept at engaging with business stakeholders.Competency in data modelling for precise reporting and utilizing web development technologies like HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.Familiarity with Customer Insights is advantageous, along with experience in Power BI and CRM reporting.Hands-on experience in cloud services development, particularly Azure (API Apps, API Management, Web Apps, and Functions).5 years' experience as a Microsoft Dynamics BC developer.3 years' experience using SQL Server Reporting Services.Ability to work within a professional and collaborative team environment to create and deliver innovative solutions that drive transformation in our business.Extensive expertise in Dynamics Business Central & CRM encompassing configuration and customizations.Tertiary qualifications in an Information Technology related field.Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics BC C/Side, AL Code, Microsoft Dynamics BC Role Tailored Client, Microsoft SQL Server, C#, .NET and ASP.NET.How to ApplyIf you believe you possess the skills and qualities to be an exceptional member of our team, please apply via the Seek portal.Applicants that apply directly to the Head of People & Culture / Company will not be considered.We are committed to being an equal opportunity employer.
