We are currently seeking an experienced, hands-on Duty Manager to assist in the day to day running of the front office area with strong night audit experience. This role will involve: Hands-on front office operations, leading and supporting the reception team in daily duties Welcome and assist with all guest arrivals, departures and requests Performing the assigned opening or closing operations of the Hotel on a rotating roster across 7 days plus night audit relief Ensuring excellence and consistency in customer service. Assisting with administration, rostering, training, and supervision of staff. Strong understanding of financial controls Actively resolve guest issues and challenges presented on shift, including responding to guest feedback The successful applicant will possess: Previous 2 years of experience in a similar role Previous island resort experience a plus Opera PMS experience required Good knowledge of Hotel Operations Experience in the supervision and motivation of team members. Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent personal presentation. This is a full-time live on island position.
