About The Role
The Alcohol and Other Drugs Clinician, working as part of a multidisciplinary team, is responsible for providing assessment, report writing, advocacy skills, case management, referral and follow up for clients seeking assistance with substance use problems. This may involve brief interventions, counselling, knowledge of trauma informed care, cultural competence; self-care; active listening, initiating and managing planned treatment options, consultation and referral to other agencies or crisis management.
