We are currently seeking casual, motivated and responsible Drivers to join our Community Services team at Anglicare Op Shop in Villawood.
You will assist with the collection and distribution of donated goods and materials.
As a Driver, you will: Collect and distribute donations according to the daily collection and distribution schedule.
Conduct regular safety checks on the company vehicle, ensuring it is maintained in a clean and roadworthy condition.
Report any mechanical faults, accidents, or damage to the Operations Manager.
Remove rubbish around clothing bins safely and report any damages or graffiti.
Support factory operations by providing stock, clearing waste, and assisting with other duties as directed.
Dispose of unwanted goods at the waste depot in a timely manner.
Build relationships with parishes, schools, local businesses, and other stakeholders to support our mission.
Assist other drivers in completing their routes when necessary to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment by adhering to safe work practices and participating in safety activities.
About you: Current NSW Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Motivated and able to work independently and in a team.
Physically fit to handle job requirements eg.
lifting and moving heavy items.
Strong communication and organisation skills Enjoys meeting people and is community focused Strong attention to detail, following rules, and adhering to safety protocols.
Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task under pressure.
