WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING MOTIVATED, EXPERIENCED Drill Fitters, Heavy Duty Truck Mechanics and Diesel Fitters.We are currently seeking the services of an experienced Drill Rig Fitter to join our field team to maintain our fleet of field equipment. The field role will service our Western Australia Operations on a 2:1 or 2:2 roster cycle working 12-hour shifts. Interstate applicants will be considered. The successful applicant will be a minimum Certificate III trade qualified diesel fitter or heavy-duty mobile mechanic.We are seeking a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position / role, with a sound knowledge of (but not limited to):Land based drill rigs - Hydro, Diamond and RC (KWL – SCHRAMM - UDR)Compressed air systems (Sullair)Boosted air systems (Air Research / Hurricane)Toyota light vehicle fleetsAssociated ancillary drilling equipment (lighting plants, forklifts, mud pumps, trailers)You must have:Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position / roleGood time management skills and an ability to self-manage, as well as be able to work unsupervised in a team environmentA proven ability to trouble shoot and carry out quality repairs on diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and high pressure air systems Experience with electrical and computer controlled systems would be an advantageA proven ability to follow maintenance management protocols and systemsPass a client specific medical including drug and alcohol testingHold a minimum HR licence (preferred)Current National Police ClearanceGood communication skills, and ability to interact with all staff members and clients in a professional mannerFollow health and safety guidelines of both FORACO and any contracted company in which employedWhat we are offering:Excellent remuneration package incl. superannuation on all earnings5 weeks annual leave paid at full shift ratesSuperannuation paid on all hours workedAll travel, accommodation and meals provided by the company All tooling supplied in fully equipped service vehicleJob security through long-term contracts with Tier 1 major mining clientsOpportunity to work in remote locations on varying equipment, enabling you to expand your knowledge base Training and upskilling happily provided for the right candidate Excellent head office supportGreat team work environmentThis is an opportunity for dedicated individuals to further their career with a company that is committed to safety excellence, training, and professionalism.All applications will be treated in strictest confidence.
